# Ransomware in the Supply Chain: Six Lessons from 10 Years of Attacks

RiskRecon’s latest research analyzed 7,158 ransomware events across 196,000 organizations to uncover patterns that matter to you. - **1% of suppliers** experience a ransomware attack every year
- Companies with **poor cybersecurity hygiene** are **5.3x more likely** to be breached

- Attackers target **every industry**, with healthcare, education, and city governments among the hardest hit
- Criminals are active **24x7**, including weekends and holidays, with more ransomware gangs than ever before
